There's a Heaven For a G

This is a print reproduction of my original coloured pencil drawing of 90's rap legend Tupac Shakur. This particular image of Tupac is only one of its kind in the world as I used my imagination to add in the left side of the portrait and Tupacs back/tattoos in order to have him free standing in the middle of the page. The original reference photo is pixelated and blurred so I used alot of visual information, specifically Tupacs movies in order to glean every aspect and detail of his characteristics. I also googled image searched his bandana, rolex and facial features, again to fill in the missing gaps and also recreate his image in a style that is both hyperrealistic and true to how he was in real life. The result is a unique and one of a kind Tupac portrait that provides a visually crystal-clear representation of his physical memory, paying tribute, homage and respect to both one of the greatest rap artists in history and hip-culture as a whole. The entire portrait was done completely freehand.
