This is a print reproduction of my colour pencil portrait of 90's rapper Tupac Shakur. The original black and white reference is dark, pixellated and blurred so I studied music videos and multiple photographic images of Tupac in order to remaster his image. This allowed me to add intricate detail and clearer form around the shape of the jawline and also intricate detailing especially around the eyes, eyelashes and brows, cheekbones, jewellery and hat. Although it appears as a black and white portrait i have used very subtle tones of actual colour to add depth and make it more dynamic. This adds a quality and sense of life to the drawing that really compliments the soulful gaze of the legendary rap musician, all drawn completely freehand.
This Tupac print is phenomenal. The quality of the paper is of the highest standard. It literally feels like you have an original. It comes with a certificate of authentication from the artist. The art itself is outstanding. Catsby is an amazingly talented artist, with an incredible eye for detail. It arrives very securely packaged and in a prompt manner. I highly recommend either this or any of their prints as you will not be disappointed.

The resolution is spot on, looking up close you can see all the details. The print quality is perfect! While the image is mainly B/W, there are slight colour hues that help the image pop. The line work is super refined and gives the art a photo-realistic feel. Arrived super-fast, was very well packaged and also included the artist’s certificate of authenticity.
Well worth the money and I would 100% buy from again!
